BEYOND MOLD

Laurie Bain is a certified CIRS health coach specializing in recovery from Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (mold and biotoxin illness). She works with individuals who are overwhelmed by persistent symptoms, confusing medical guidance, and the daily challenge of avoiding re-exposure.
With training in the Shoemaker Protocol and years of hands-on experience, Laurie provides structured guidance to help clients understand what is happening in their body, make practical changes in their environment, and move steadily toward recovery. Her approach combines clear education, step-by-step coaching, and consistent support so clients can regain stability and confidence during treatment.
About Laurie
Training and Experience
Laurie is a Certified Proficiency Partner Diplomat specializing in the Shoemaker Protocol. She is CIRSx-certified, and has completed advanced coursework in Functional Medicine Health Coaching through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).
How Laurie Works with Clients
Laurie’s work is informed by her own experience with CIRS, allowing her to connect with clients in a practical and realistic way. Rather than a directive model, she partners with clients to build sustainable routines and decision-making skills throughout treatment.
She works in coordination with Dr. Andrew Heyman and helps clients implement provider recommendations, manage stress, establish daily recovery habits, and maintain a safer home environment during the healing process.
Ready to take the next step?
If you are navigating CIRS and unsure what to do next, a structured plan and consistent guidance can make recovery manageable. Laurie offers both group and individual coaching and is happy to discuss whether support would be helpful for your situation.
Coaching services are educational and supportive in nature and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment. Clients should remain under the care of a qualified physician for management of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome.
